Taking the best special effects is indeed a matter of course, and the box office fiasco is also reasonable. Because the director and screenwriter forgot that this is a movie and not a retelling of a novel, the film completely adopts the narrative structure of the novel, and the slow one is not generally slow. Occasionally a small orgasm is also over in the blink of an eye. It's not that I'm shooting a literary film, and I don't have a place to catch people's hearts.
This movie is especially suitable for people who are crazy supporters of the original book, and those dreamy girls who like pixies.
In the end, the director forgot that The Lord of the Rings was slow to have enough length to support it, and it ended with a very flat end to the final climax.
Just watch it as a literary film, or watch it as a movie video novel that retells a novel.
