Are hackers short-lived?

I am a hacker fan, and I have collected and watched all the trilogy n times.
I haven't seen the director brothers for a long time, and I heard that my brother has changed sex and has become a sister and brother.
Then I saw the cloud map, and honestly I don't think it's a good movie.
Then I saw Jupiter.
I'd say it's better than Cloud Atlas, but it's nowhere near The Matrix.

First of all, this setting, an ordinary girl with a plain appearance becomes a queen, I don't like this.
Although Cinderella was born in a mediocre family, she didn't know how to clean the toilet, and she must have a good appearance, so she became a princess after dressing up.
This Jupiter is really too down to earth.
She's ugly, she cleans the toilet every day, and her relatives are very vulgar. This kind of girl is not Cinderella's potential. The whole play doesn't seem to have any visual impulse.

And then the love scenes don't work.
It may also be influenced by the ugly heroine, but it still shows that there is a problem with the handling of this emotional drama.
Unnatural, not profound.
What is there to love about this heroine? There is absolutely no sense of substitution, unnatural.

The third visual effect doesn't work.
This 2015 drama, compared to the Matrix 15 years ago, really has worse visual effects.

The story of the heroine and her father also has no meaning and can be completely deleted.

But overall, it is still a good sci-fi film, much stronger than most domestic films.

  • [from trailer]

Balem Abrasax: Bring her to me... *Now*!

  • Balem Abrasax: Slow.

[play back of the scene in the operating room where Caine meets Jupiter slows as Balem moves around in it]

    Balem Abrasax: There... you... are...

[he stoops down to look at Jupiter as she is floating in the operating room]

Balem Abrasax: You know there are moments when I actually miss you. Because no one understands this universe like you did. No one understands me...

    [his voice breaks]

    Balem Abrasax: ...like you did.
