It is also a description of the mid-life crisis, but it is not as oppressive and desperate as the American beauty. Life with a glass of wine seems to describe the mediocre life of thousands of ordinary middle-aged men like neighbors. Depressed middle-aged man, has no money, is divorced, lives a lonely life, and his novels have been rejected again and again, so that he no longer believes in his talent, and goes back to being an English teacher that he hates. I am interested in things that cannot make money and are not understood by others, such as literature, movies, and wine. However, life still has to go on. Yes, a failed life at this age does not even make sense to commit suicide. Fortunately, the director still let us see hope at the end. Love is always the most powerful and warm medicine for healing wounds, improving life and improving ourselves. As long as he still has love, this kind of life is not bad and complete. He is not like Jack. He is sincere, he is responsible, and he pursues his heart, so he deserves to have love.
