"Daddy Judge" is a good Oscar nominee! The rhythm of the story is a little slower, and the first half is also a little lengthy, but it is suitable for one person to watch, and those dialogues can be tasted slowly.
Robert Duvall's sword is not old. Robert Downey Jr. performed superbly, proving that he has not been degraded by years of shooting superhero commercial blockbusters.
The stubbornness, quarrels, and reconciliation between father and son are all in place, and that bathroom scene is impressive. (I'm suddenly so worried about getting old and unable to take care of myself, it's terrible.) There are no perfect parents and children in the world. We should pay attention to communication and mutual understanding. (I shouldn't be arguing with my mom all the time)
The ending song "the scientist" is good, no worse than Coldplay's version.
PS: Hank almost slept with his daughter, but even if it wasn't her daughter, she was also a niece! oh god! QueenB's role as a 17-year-old girl is not against harmony at all! (I chose a photo of Robert when he was a child, when he was really a young lady)
