Humanity alone is sufficient to commit any evil

I personally think that a good movie, no matter if it is classified as a commercial blockbuster or a literary niche, should not become a kind of self-gratification by the director and should have a certain degree of follow-up effect on the audience. When you put down the popcorn and walk out of the movie theater, "Train to Busan" is a movie enough to make you continue to reminisce about it. And it's hard to imagine that this is the first zombie movie in Korea. Whether the ban on South Korea is an order is unknown, but the gap between China's film industry is far more than the gap between Jazz and Lord of the Rings. In Asia, can our directors make such a well-received and popular commercial film, instead of relying on scolding to gain attention and stealing the box office to brush the charts?
British writer Condela said that it is not necessary to attribute evil to supernatural factors, and that human beings alone are sufficient to carry out every evil deed. And it is. In a movie with terrifying zombies as the main body, what really shakes the audience emotionally is the behavior of human beings. From the male protagonist who almost shut the fat uncle and the pregnant lady outside when the door was closed for the first time, to the people in the first carriage who are more willing to shut up the surviving people than the zombies, every closing and opening of the film is a A test, for the characters, and for the audience as well.
Tong Yan Wuji, compared to zombies, the performance of some human beings is more chilling and frightening. But on the other hand, we will also fall into a morally dead cycle: if we do not follow the default moral principles of human society and only focus on our own personal survival, then this person can be regarded as a complete person compared to zombies. human? But if everyone abides by this moral code and eventually falls into the realm of no survivors, then this code born from the foundation of human society will be impossible to talk about, right?
The sister of the old lady duo chose not to run to the door of survival, not because she couldn't run, but because she had already seen through the amazing consistency between humans and zombies: selfishness, indifference, and madness. As for the younger sister of the old lady duo, the act of opening the door, contrary to everyone's surprise, directly reversed the rhythm of the previous story. People who are as selfish, indifferent, and crazy as zombies have truly become zombies, and the protagonist team, who is isolated by them, escapes this disaster.
The heroic sacrifice of the male protagonist is inevitable, but the last five minutes of the pregnant woman and her daughter walking through the dark tunnel are the most exciting part of the film. In this abrupt slowdown of the rhythm and the still tense atmosphere, the director did not choose an open ending, but chose to end the whole film with a positive description. Is it also the director's hope for humanity?
Evil stands out because good shines brightly.
