Colonel Dax personally defended his soldiers, and after the court-martial, Dax found that the judge and the prosecution didn't care about the evidence at all, but tried the three scapegoats. Dax learned from the artillery captain that General Paul was going to bombard his own troops and got the evidence, so he found another general who was also Paul's old friend, and the general took the evidence.
In the end, the three soldiers were executed. At the dinner, General Paul’s old friend pointed out Paul’s wrong order. Paul left in anger. Through this series of events, Dax recognized the various shady stories between the general and the army. . However, Dax still has to lead the army to continue fighting.
