Enchanted

The concept of the story is very good, sending a princess living in a fairy tale to the modern world, to a place where there is no happy ever after. From the animation form to the live-action form, it is quite new to me. There are many silly behaviors that satirize princes and princesses, and the official complaints are particularly deadly. Treating TVs as magic mirrors, modern technology seems to them to be magic, and this reversal of perspective is quite fun. The folding book effect at the end of the film is also very interesting.

But I don't think this movie has lived up to my expectations.

1. What I was looking forward to seeing was also the transformation of the heroine, from a naive (actor) girl to a girl who couldn't, to a girl who has the ability to be independent and is no longer just waiting for a true love kiss. There are also some clues in the movie, such as the book that the male protagonist gave his daughter is about independent women, and the female protagonist also read this book later. But it didn't take the heroine route as I expected. The story is still an old-fashioned prince and princess tale. In the end, the heroine still has to rely on the kiss of the hero to save her.

2. The male protagonist chose the female protagonist instead of his girlfriend who had been with him for five years. I don't quite agree with it. In fact, I have always hoped that the male and female protagonists would not go together. If it is said at the beginning that the male protagonist decides to propose to his girlfriend because of pressure, there are many things that they cannot get along with. I would think that it is a more moral choice for the male protagonist to choose the female protagonist in the end. Secondly, I chose the princess who I have only been with for a while, and gave up the strong female girlfriend who I have been with for five years. The values seem to be that a girl only needs to be silly and sweet to win a capable girl who has a relationship with her boyfriend.

But le, how to say, the innocence of the heroine can't be completely her fault. It is a valuable trait that many modern people lack. She believes in "happy ever after", and this optimism is good.

Robert: Morgan, just because she has on a funny dress doesn't mean she's a real princess. She is a seriously woman who's fallen into our laps.

Robert: What's wrong with you? This people are in real pain.

Giselle:Of course they're in pain. They're separated forever. Married one day and the next they're not. What sort of awful place is this?

Robert: It's reality.

different ideas. But the views of the hostess of this place changed later. She was originally married to get married, and to find true love in order to find true love. The concept of male protagonists will also change.

Robert: How long you two been together?

Giselle: Oh, about a day.

Robert: You're kidding me. One day? You're gonna marry somebody after a day because you fell in love with him?

Giselle: Yes.

Robert: I don't get it. How can you talk about loving some guy you don't even know?

Giselle: Well, I know what's in his heart.

Robert: OK, great.

Giselle: What about you?

Robert: Uh, it's five years.

Giselle: And you haven't proposed? No wonder she's angry.

Robert: Most normal people get to know each other before they get married. They date. You go some place special, like a restaurant, or a movie, museum. Or you just hang out and you talk.

Giselle: What do you talk about?

Robert: About each other. About yourself. About your interests. Your likes, your dislikes. You talk!

Giselle: You have such strange ideas about love!

Robert: Maybe we should do what you would do. You meet, have lunch, and get married.

Giselle: Oh, you forgot about happily ever after.

Robert: Forget about “happily ever after”, it doesn't exist.

Robert: What if he doesn't come?

Giselle: Why do you keep saying that?

Robert: Because I deal with this every day. If a relationship has issues at the beginning, it doesn't get any better.

Robert: Ok, look. As your attorney, Phoebe, you can't let a chance encounter with someone…

Wife: What if it wasn't chance? What if it was no accident, us meeting her.

Robert: You guys have problems.

Wife: Everyone has problems. Everyone has bad times. Do we sacrifice all the good times because of them?

The music of the movie is nice and the story is lovely. It feels good to be away from the so-called life like this, even if it is just over an hour.
