The Vow--Amnesia Love and Finding Yourself

I haven't finished it yet, but this movie made me love it to death. It's not just about love; it's really about love, about love at all levels and self-choice, as the movie's introduction says—find the self. Paige's amnesia brought the loss of love to Leo, which made a man who loved his lover so overwhelmed and panicked. He hoped to use the experiences they once shared and the environment to evoke something in his wife that once belonged to both of them. At the beginning, there seemed to be a little spark, which made me mistakenly think that this was a drool TV-type idol movie. But as Paige not only was not moved by anything in the past, but the hero, Leo, faced all kinds of extremely difficult tests, which made me more and more deeply captured by the sense of reality that it reveals. Until Leo signed the divorce agreement and Paige left with his ex-fiancé, who had been dumped by him.

There are all kinds of possibilities in life, and every choice you make can have enough reasons to support it. Therefore, last time, Paige did not choose the day when her father arranged to go to the law school to study safely, but this time, because of this car accident, this amnesia, and because of Paige's parents' wanting to calm down and make arrangements for Paige again, the heroine is again at the crossroads of this choice. This time, the director arranged for her to live a life that she once regarded as a law-abiding one and follow her former fiancé, "like history repeating itself". But this time, she didn't escape. This is the most beautiful and most moving place. The last time Paige escaped, it was because of the wrong choice of his parents. His father was hanging out with her good friends. She couldn't accept and face such a thing, so she left her former home angrily. There is no objection to this reason at all. She can, and should, even leave the home where she can't find herself.

The gear of time is turning, so Paige's father doesn't want Paige to recall all kinds of things again. (When I saw this, I understood why Paige's parents and Leo hadn't met, and why they didn't want her to restore her memory so well. ) However, the chains of fate are intertwined, and the truth finally broke out by accident. When she knew the truth and faced the whole thing again, Paige was still angry at first, but this time, she and her partner were different. Her mother talked about it frankly and openly. Behind her mother's cowardice was her reluctance to part with the whole family and the fragility of an old woman. Perhaps it is also this vulnerability that makes Paige show a little pity. For her father, in their conversation with each other, they also gave a more tender hug, instead of leaving angrily and no longer in contact. Moreover, after facing her parents' confession that she was afraid of losing her, Paige said to her father: "You will never lose my," which made the whole story immediately vivid and complete ten thousand times.

In life, you can live a very wonderful and self-reliant life. On the path of finding yourself, freedom often allows people to make more of the choices they like, just like Paige once, leaving a well-behaved fiance, the same law school, and the cowardly parents who made him unable to face. The life after she left was a wonderful mess. It may even be what everyone dreamed of, dreamed of, everything a young man wanted—a beloved lover who loves each other deeply, is full of tacit understanding, a free, attractive, and challenging job, a group of energetic friends who share the same goals and care for each other. What else does she need? Yes, without this bloody car accident, she might not lack anything. But God blinked and said, "You still don't have a beautiful family love."

So, apparently God gave her this car accident, and a chance to find the love of her family completely, and a chance to get to know her true self more. I think God really loves Paige so that she can get such complete love in her life. I liked the part where she reconciled with her parents, and I liked the episodes where Leo faced all difficulties for the sake of love and sacrifice for love and for his beloved. These difficulties can only exist in real life, because real life is full of all kinds of dog blood, not the kind of bridges that can be imagined by feet in drool dramas.

The new choices brought about by amnesia have opened up a different path for Paige, but no one knows whether it is really the same thing. I have been drawing this question mark, but the more I look at it, the closer I feel to the real me, the closer I am to my soul, and the closer Paige is to the other path I chose. Even if she and Leo tried and tried again and again, they failed; even if Leo signed the most unwilling word on the divorce agreement; even if Paige and her ex-fiancé met right in the eye and walked hand in hand; or even if Leo was disheartened and finally chose to let go of the heartache; and even started to try to date other girls. --------- They --------- God, the story, the director, the protagonists The soul still signaled to me again and again that, in the end, the road to returning to love is already being completed. I really look forward to this ending. just like looking forward to the ending for me and everyone else.
