The music is really top-notch, and the beginning of the Roman legion battle against the Germanic barbarians is also great. The full battle of Rome is a 100% reference to this movie. But the small flaw is that the cavalry still has stirrups.

It's okay, but as an Oscar's best film, the gold content is average, so it's more reasonable to give the best director, although Soderbergh was indeed well deserved back then.
