This film is the fifth collaboration between Tony Scott and Daniel Washington, and this is not the first time Denzel Washington has played a minor role. He is very familiar with the shaping of characters, so what we see is not an actor. It was a locomotive driver who was about to lose his job. The film is adapted from real events. From beginning to end, it is Scott's fast-paced and highly tense style, letting the audience know that a disaster film without terrorists and only trains can be so thrilling. Of course, the film still maintains the style of promoting American personal heroism. The film also involves a lot of knowledge about the running of railway locomotives, which is worth savoring.
