TTSS is awesome. The narrative structure is chaotic but orderly. The clues are laid out several times, and the author's ingenuity is displayed in a low-key manner under the suppression of checks and balances that are extremely realistic. In the end, the Mole quotes Karal's analysis of Smiley's weakness as a wake-up call, and also shows the author's "inner circle experience". The overall style is hidden and the details also reveal the reflection on intelligence work and the cruelty of intelligence career. I am going to look for the original Smiley trilogy. PS Cumberbatch is too creamy and youthful to play an intelligence officer
