We are not Lola, we have no chance to choose to run again. Can the real life be repeated over and over again like this? Can the lenses be switched one after the other? Of course not. Even Lola chose three paths, but none of them are perfect, so we don't need to regret it. "Cherish the present and grasp the future." This is a complete bullshit. If the future is in our hands, why would there be so much helplessness? In the face of reality, we have no choice, but in the face of life, we have many choices. All I can say is, cherish the present and choose the future. Because often you only have one choice. The film is interspersed with two dialogues between Lola and Manny, which appear pale and weak in the context of the big background. When we don't have a chance to prove love through life and death, we are always restless, even suspicious.
When we don't have enough time to think about how to make a choice, we follow the lead of fate, blindly rushing in the river of life and can't turn back. I just hope that every choice is regretless. The film's revolt against fate evolves in Lola's endless running, with her jumping red hair, and the postmodernist background music visualizes this invisible force. It's just that the theme music (what a difference a day make) interspersed in the first clip is a bit out of place.
After watching this movie, I had the urge to cut my hair short.
