In fact, if you think about it carefully, there are still some commendable content in this film, such as the comparison between the poverty and unemployment of the locals in Puerto Rico and the profligacy of American gold prospectors, such as the irony of politics, and the persistence and helplessness of news reports. It’s just that the rhythm is too slow, the lines are too long, and the content is not expressed, which makes the whole movie look dull and boring, and Thompson’s "absurd" thoughts are not well expressed ~
