A mix of lunatic and genius

As a small person living at the bottom, Ripley is full of persistent yearning for the elegant piano in the center of the stage, the bright sunshine in Italy, and all the unrestrained and dazzling things. They are so different from their own, they are no longer humble and cautious.
If the identity cannot be chosen, then the genius can use his talent to change everything. Ripley has a unique voice and signature imitation ability, and he is observant of others' words and deeds, and his memory is vivid. Perhaps it is because he has a good grasp of people's hearts, that after killing people, lies can be made realistically, and words and deeds can remain calm. Ripley wore black-rimmed glasses, and he couldn't stop the childishness of the student, but when he smiled, there were sophisticated wrinkles on the corners of his mouth. You can't tell if he is an angel or a devil. Especially in the bath scene, Ripley looked at Dick with innocence and fiery eyes, softening people's hearts. At that moment, I would rather believe that he was just a man with a temperament that followed his inner intuition.
If a person listens too much to his inner voice, he is either a lunatic or a genius. And Ripley is a mix of lunatic and genius.
Studies have shown that when some criminals kill people, they cannot empathize and experience the pain of the victim. And Ripley is a counter-example. Whether it is killing Dick due to emotional out-of-control on the yacht, or strangling Bill to death in the end, the pain should be as severe as a thousand arrows pierced through the heart. A flesh and blood murderer is far easier to sympathize with than a cold-blooded murderer - I hope Ripley can lock the bloody memory in the basement and start a life as clean as the Mediterranean sunshine. But the director asked Blanchett to appear on the yacht, and everything took a turn.
When Ripley saw Blanchett appear on the yacht, he knew that the scam was about to break through, but he couldn't hide the joy of seeing the person he admired. He couldn't tell whether it was despair or happiness on his face, so the two expressions restrained each other. They appeared separately, suddenly brightening and suddenly disappearing just like his complicated and turbulent heart.
After finally strangling Bill to death, Ripley curled up alone in the corner, and the camera slowly closed, as if he was locked in the basement, never to see the light of day.
Xu Zhimo once invented a word called "kiss the fire". Ripley wanted to kiss the lavish, unrestrained, shining fire of life, but ended up "setting himself on fire". When the show ended, it was only a dark and damp cage.
From the perspective of humanitarian sympathy, how wishful I was, as Ripley said in the opening confession: "If I could go back to the past, if everything could be done all over again, I would start with myself and borrow a The coat begins." So heaven is not fleeting, so pure joy that no more silence follows.
