and some are not, Hopkins is in this category. He played a classic, great villain perfectly in The Silence of the Lambs. Perhaps it is understandable that it can play naturally in different types of films. But in watching this film, I compare it with "Silence" everywhere, it's human nature. The director is a master at making thrillers, and the script is not bad. It's a pity that the film's climax is weak. The already much-anticipated courtroom scene is not the focus of the whole film.
