The movie tells the story of a very ordinary female bank clerk, Christine, who could have helped a lonely old man renew his house loan when he was competing for the position of deputy manager, but she saw that the old man was in rags and behaved indecently. At the same time, for the sake of performance, she refused the request of the old man. The old man knelt down and begged her in the bank lobby, but she yelled at the security guard and drove the old man away. In front of everyone, the old man felt very ashamed (probably due to Cambodian customs). So he carried out a series of acts of revenge, and ripped off the buttons on the female staff's clothes, cursed the owner of the buttons (Christine) with the darkest and evil black magic, and said to her with a hideous face, "Soon, there will be Instead, you come to beg me." Since that day, Christine has been constantly tortured physically and mentally by demons. Finally, one day, she couldn't bear it anymore. When she wanted to beg the old man, she found that the old man was dead. She couldn't make up for her fault, couldn't ask the old man's forgiveness, and couldn't get rid of the devil's entanglement. However, her boyfriend is an atheist and doesn't believe in ghosts at all, so Christine had to ask for the help of a fortune teller behind her boyfriend's back, and even killed her beloved kitten to pay homage to the banshee. But all her efforts could not be forgiven by the banshee and lifted the curse of the banshee. In the end, Lingmei Shi had no choice but to tell her that it was the button owner who was cursed by the banshee. If she gave the button to someone else, the banshee would take that person's soul away. Kristin was struggling. She sat in the restaurant and chose her scapegoat, the disabled, the waiter with a bad attitude, the competitor who always played tricks behind her back... In the end, she didn't give the buttons to any innocent person. By chance, she knew she could give things to the dead, and she decided to give the buttons to the banshee who cursed her. After a lot of hardships, in the end, she finally stuffed the envelope with buttons into the mouth of the banshee buried in the coffin... Everything finally returned to calm, peaceful and beautiful. The next morning, she got the position of deputy bank manager and decided to go on a trip with her boyfriend to celebrate her rebirth. At the train station, her boyfriend took out an envelope containing the cursed button... It turned out that she was careless and mistaken the envelope containing coins and the envelope containing buttons, and her fate has not changed... She was taken aback and accidentally fell into orbit...
The plot of the film is ups and downs. Every time the protagonist thinks that the curse has been lifted, she is thrown into hell again, and she is plunged into infinite despair. I can't help thinking that every ordinary person may have some power, and if we don't help those who need our help for a petty profit, our destiny may be changed forever. Also, don't judge people by their appearance, every seemingly ordinary person may have the ability to change your life, please be kind to others.
