Best action movie of the decade?

For the title of "Best Action Movie of the Decade", I saw an Indonesian movie for the first time.
In fact, the director is a Welsh native, but now he is settled in Indonesia. However, the actors in the film are all from Indonesia, and the performance is the Indonesian martial art Pencak silat (Panjersela). It is said that Panjasera originated from the observation and refinement of animal fighting by the local people. It has developed into many schools. It can be used with bare hands, daggers, machetes or even spears. A lot of close combat in the film gives people a strong sense of reality, in contrast to the popular Hong Kong films of Weiya in recent years.
The high concentration of locations and the trapped police are reminiscent of "Blood Splattered Police Station No. 13", and in fact the director admitted to being influenced by it. But the story of this film is simpler. After explaining the protagonist's background (good man + mysterious mission) in the first three minutes, the raid started with vigour. Some people criticize the plot for its straightforwardness and lack of depth, but I appreciate this clean and neat style, which makes the whole film a violent feast. From the first execution with a headshot and hammer, to the mad counterattack after the thugs received instructions; from the one-to-many broken tendon and collarbone in the corridor to death, to the painful fall on the railing (it should be a dummy) ) and the light tube poking the throat; seeing the blood spurting out of the mouth, the male hormones are secreted in large quantities. There is an unconventional shootout in the front, and a ten-minute two-on-one boss battle in the back. Coupled with the unknown confined space design of a thriller game, the whole film has no urine spots and is full of action addiction. Besides, the ending is okay too.
This film is the second film between the director and the starring, and it is also the second film of each of them, and the response is okay. They plan to follow the success of the pursuit and release several more Kung Fu films based on Panjcera, and want to change the previous half-made film into a sequel to this film. Does it sound unreliable, I hope not to repeat the old path of Thailand's "Pirates of the Buddha" ("Quan Ba") going from bad to worse.

The Raid: Redemption quotes

  • Jaka: [talking to his S.W.A.T. team] Okay, listen up. Our target is Tama Riyadi. I'm sure most of you know who I'm talking about. This man has become something of a legend in the underworld. Pushers, gangs, killers, they all respect him like a god. For the past 10 years his building has been a no-go zone for police. I don't care how big he is or who is behind him, he must be stopped. That enterprising fuck's been renting out rooms like it's an apartment, to any low-life piece of shit looking to keep his head down. Our mission is simple: we go in, and we take him out!

  • Rama: They'll come here. They'll tear this place to the ground.

Andi: We'll be long gone before they get here.

Rama: Then why do you stay?

Andi: For the same reason you stayed in that uniform - it just fits.
