At first I thought that the plot of the film was still a typical Hollywood routine. With the cooperation of a female investigator, a father discovered a shocking dark side of war or politics or system through his own investigation of the strange death of his son. Although the end of the film still feels like a meeting, it is still deeply affected by the desolation of humanity by the war.

The film has a tight rhythm, and the proper atmosphere treatment also portrays family and human nature to a certain extent, which is unbearable.

I didn’t understand that Tommy Lee Jones defeated several young actors who performed very well last year to win Oscar nominations, but it was not until I watched the film that I felt that it was not only well deserved, but also his natural and true performance. It is totally dedicated in its best role ever.

What breaks my heart most in the film is how the mother played by Susan Sarandon answered her son's death call and watched her son's corpse. The tearful eyes and involuntary hand movements are moving. Take care of yourself, because someone really loves you very much.
