Tomb Raider: Origins | Grateful this movie saved my relationship

A good movie takes the heart, and a commercial movie takes the kidney. This "Tomb Raider: Battle of the Origin" can only be spit, what can I say? Anyway, I watched it at home as a Xiaomi member. I didn’t go to the cinema to spend a dime, and I could still complain loudly at home, and I could also complain loudly with my husband. You know, we just had a fight, and neither of us wanted to talk to anyone. If we hadn't opened the movie, neither of us would have known who would start the conversation first.

Here's the thing, Friday is his good friend's birthday, and I know this friend too. His friend invited him to a birthday party, I was waiting for him to ask me if you were going or not, and he went out without asking anything. When he came back from get off work in the evening, he was lying on the sofa humming and saying that he had eaten a bad stomach. The schadenfreude in me was happy.

Then he said I didn't care about him, I accused him in turn of not asking me if I was going to the birthday party, and he said I was making a fuss and I forgot what I said.

Anyway, in the end, it was a good night to eat hot pot skewers, but I didn't go, and my eyes were swollen from crying. Finally, I ate instant noodles at home, turned on the TV and saw that "Tomb Raider: Battle of the Origin" was launched on Xiaomi, so I clicked it, because I said I wanted to go to the cinema to watch it, but I didn't go because I was busy.

Oops, I seem to be digressing, let's go back to the movie first.

First, let's take a look at the script of the movie. I feel that there are logical loopholes everywhere. People are anxious about Laura's IQ from beginning to end. He looked at me, obviously trying to endure whoever complained first.

At the beginning, Laura was boxing, and her strength was not good. It was okay, as a foreshadowing. Then there is extreme sports cycling, what do you want to highlight? Laura runs fast? Not following the rules? By the way, because I missed my dad, I crashed a car and got arrested at the police station, so I brought out the butler of Crawford's company to bail and asked for a signature by the way?

What have you been doing all these years before?

The lawyer took out the box before Laura signed, how unprofessional are you? How much do you like to play when Laura grabs it before signing it?

I understand, you are the director who arranged to push the plot forward in a hurry.

Then Laura discovered her father's secret and did not burn down all the research as her father said. This understanding is a rebellious girl after all. But then going to pawn your mother's relics and jade can't be justified. Isn't this all your thoughts? Isn't it something special about you? How do you say that there is no struggle at all? Are you really the mechanical girl controlled by the player in the game?

When I got here, my husband complained first. We had the same point, and soon formed an alliance to complain all the way.

Next, Laura's journey to find her father officially begins. This can't be called "Tomb Raider", it should be called "Where Are You Going Dad?" After all, there is too little time left for the ancient tomb. The part about being robbed by three young people at the dock was too deliberate. A girl dressed in such a simple way and carrying such a ragged canvas bag, where did the urge to rob you and go all out with a knife came from? Is it the director? The group performances that have given so many shots must not be used in vain. Sure enough, they were seen on the island later, and they turned into good young people with high morals.

Of course, Laura's iconic running, the turbulent waves in the sea, the afterlife on the island, and the rickety big plane are still remarkable to restore the game.

But immediately the logic is wrong. As a movie adaptation of a game, it is not scary how powerful the heroine is, but the scary thing is that the logic is not logical and the IQ is not online. Laura, didn't you come to find Daddy? To be precise, he should have come to find him who attracted his father to leave him back then, but by accident, didn't you find him? Shouldn't you figure out how to get off the island when you're both free?

And shouldn't this island be the legendary hard-to-get-to-and-to-leave? Why did he become a diligent and diligent villain who was willing to stay on the island to dig graves and return to reunite with his wife and daughter after successful digging?

In the barracks, the arrow is pointed at the back of the villain's head, why not kill him first and focus on the phone? After killing so many mercenaries, you should pick up a gun anyway.

Moreover, the father and daughter did not agree to act together. The fight was hot here, and the father over there automatically walked to the gate of the ancient tomb to be a hostage. It felt like Laura's father had lost his mind. Laura too, it was only then that I realized that I was here to save my father. I wanted to open the mechanism and let the bad guys in so that my father could survive. Well, it's time to enter the ancient tomb, and the movie is almost over.

Entering the ancient tomb is even more worrying. What are you doing here, father and daughter? Are you going to visit the tomb? Laura, don't you have to sacrifice yourself to protect the ancient tomb? Why does your daughter, Laura, smile with relief every time she clears a level? Completely a satisfied expression of my daughter's real promise.

There is also this ancient tomb, whose appearance is copied from the tomb robbery notes, the level is simple and rude, and it is not thrilling at all. However, Laura and her father were completely integrated into the immediate sense of sight of the villain gang. I won't complain about Himiko's costume. You hard-edited a good mysterious witchcraft into a virus. Are you going to make a Resident Evil sequel? Don't the maids who died in the burial carry the virus during the fight? Why didn't Laura get infected? Ready to get your own serum for the next episode?

The biggest flaw is that when the villain escapes, he is clearly standing on the iron bridge, so why not just kick it down? I know, to drag time. There are also villains, who all know that it is a virus. Can you use a slightly professional container to contain the virus?

The result was that Laura's father blew up herself and the ancient tomb. Laura was rescued by Wu Yanzu's grave digging, and took a transport plane that could be driven to the island at will, and left happily. Not only did we suddenly realize that it was so easy to fly to the island.

It's a pity that from start to finish, Mama Laura's jade is really useless except for pawning jade, and I thought it could work some magic.

In the end, Laura told us from her own experience: you must listen to what your father says, or you may really kill your father, and you must read the content when signing, or you may sell yourself. Also, I don't know where she bought her vest, the quality is really good.

I know this is a movie adapted from a game, but since the movie is adapted, we have to consider the feelings of moviegoers other than game fans, and we have to follow some story logic, or just go play the game directly.

By the way, I don't seem to have complained about Wu Yanzu. I don't know who thought of the name. It's called a passerby. Sure enough, the role is also a passerby. And I don't want to complain about my ancestors being so old, ugly and fierce.

In addition, the person Himiko did exist in history, and he was quite powerful. In the past, I took a Japanese history class and studied "The Chronicle of Ancient Events", and friends who are interested can Baidu.

Although the movie made people anxious, but because of the complaints, my husband and I stood on a united front again. We looked at each other. He thought that we should respect me more in the future, and I think we should trust him more in the future.

I think there should be a dozen of such movies. Some movies may really be made to complain, and complaining together can really enhance feelings.
