I came from the game party, probably because my expectations were too high, so the gap between the whole film and what I expected was too big.
The plot setting of the game is that Himiko is an absolute villain with super powerful strength, but the soul is trapped in a dead body, so the storm is summoned to prevent anyone from leaving the island. In the movie, however, Himyhoo became a virus, and it felt like it dropped a gear in an instant.
Secondly, Laura's setting is an archaeologist, who came to the island to explore the secret of the Dragon Triangle. However, although Laura's skills and knowledge in the film have not changed, but the purpose has become "find my father"? ? ? In many games, Lara's sturdiness and persistence in seeking history have not been reflected.
Okay, the plot aspect is really far from the game. However, it is commendable that some of the classic scenes in the game are quite restored. The most impressive is the part where Laura fell into the old plane and took the parachute jump.
So as a whole, it's okay as an adventure movie, but for the game party, it's still a bit disappointing.
