King Arthur

King Arthur (Beasts): I have seen many movies about King Arthur. I was hesitant to watch this movie before. It is easy to compare with the previous plots after watching the same type of theme. After watching it, I am a little fortunate. Fortunately, Arthur who I watched before was against the Roman Empire, and this one is about the things before becoming king, which is somewhat joyful. The scene is enough to watch, especially the golem at the beginning, its destructive power is amazing. Uncharacteristically, young Arthur is actually a talker, and the dialogue is quick and direct, the reasoning is rigorous, and there is a big breakthrough from the past. The plot is relatively old-fashioned. It is always forced to resist by a victim, suddenly realized when family, friendship, and love are all damaged, and then kills the uncle to win the victory, hey... There is no new routine? Generally speaking, the first half is full of surprises, and the second half has too many routines. It is said that Arthur's uncle's wife and daughter were beautiful enough, and they were sacrificed to the octopus monster underwater, but they still couldn't beat Arthur, and the ending of the octopus monster was not clearly written. The film as a whole is just mediocre.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword quotes

  • The Mage: You know what we have to do. In order for him to control Excalibur, he needs to go to the Darklands.

    Bedivere: That's not happening.

    Bedivere: ...Welcome to the Darklands...

The Mage: He needs to take the sword to the tower.

    Bedivere: Give me another way.

The Mage: There is no other way. And he has to go alone.

Bedivere: He can't survive the Darklands alone!

The Mage: You don't want all of him to survive, that's the point. You have to break his old self completely, wear him down. You want him to think big? Give him something big to think about.

Bedivere: You're playing with fire, mage. And I'm not killing the king before he's even become one!

  • The Mage: Pick it up. Pick it up with both hands.

King Arthur: YOU pick it up.
