The setting is very relatable, in a self-pity way. In the past 30 seconds, a child has become an adult, and that child has gone to neverland. All of us are bound to experience this moment, in a sad way, unavoidable, inconsolable, helpless. In fact, if it is possible, who is willing to give up their innocence, who is willing to let the elf who accompanied the most carefree time in life die? We watched Depp in the film, watching Depp in the film full of pity and regret watching the children in the film grow up in an instant, as if looking at ourselves. So there must be some people who think this movie is really good.
I also think this movie is really good, Depp played really well.
But I don't like this movie. I don't like this tone.
Because in fact Mrs. Barry is actually not wrong in the movie, but she is so unfortunate. Just because there is no neverland in her imagination, just because she can't find any way to get her husband to show her his neverland. What a pity, she socialized for him and ran the house for him, because all this gentleman likes to do now is walk and write in the park, dance with the dogs, play Indian games with the children, all he needs is a mother. She played this role, but at the same time she also expected to get the love of her husband, but unfortunately she didn't.
So I don't like this kind of tone, a person, regardless of man or woman, in the case of ignoring reality, retains his own innocence, and builds his own purity on the tolerance and suffering of others, this is not a commendable behavior.
