Good and Evil in "The Wizard of Oz"

There are two worlds in the wizarding world, one represents justice and the other represents evil. There is a beautiful and innocent Sedora in the evil world, but her eyes are blinded by her sister Enola. She lives in a hypocritical world where she blindly trusts and falls in love with the glib Oscar. She is undoubtedly the most tragic character in the play. In a world that represents kindness and justice, there is Glinda, who is beautiful and kind-hearted. She was wise and saw through Oscar's fake identity from the very beginning, but also discovered his kind heart. Therefore, instead of dismantling him, he was portrayed as the spiritual leader of everyone. There are no heroes in this world, and those who become heroes are just in line with the needs of the changes of the times. Oscar plays this heroic role in the play.
Sedora, who was betrayed by Oscar, was devastated, and under the bewitchment of her sister Enola, ate the green apple that betrayed her kindness and beauty and gained magic power at the same time. Only then did she realize that her sister was the devil, not Glinda. At this time, she has no way out, hatred has completely occupied her body, and she has fallen into darkness since then, isolated from beauty and kindness. She is not wrong, if she insists on saying that she is wrong, it is just too simple. I simply believed my sister, simply fell in love with Oscar, and simply ate the green apple.
If simplicity is a mistake, we were wrong in the first place. It is impossible for everyone to be born with the ability to distinguish between right and wrong. How to judge the real and the fake in this world? Maybe each of us, like Sedora, has been living in a false utopia. We may have heard of the bloody brutality outside, but we have never experienced it.
Our patriotism exceeds that of most countries in the world, but our society is not as good as that of most countries in the world. We have studied the constitution, we have praised democracy and freedom, but we have been so blinded by the party's light that we cannot open our eyes and take this society seriously. It has made a large part of people lose sight of hope. Is such misfortune still not enough to wake us up? There is a saying that makes sense: the unfortunate people have no motherland.
When all the cover is superfluous, when doubt has become a habit. Don't ask what's wrong with this society? Because she can't hear it anymore.

    Finley: It's got a knife.

  • Oz: You can have a nice pile of bananas!

Finley: Oh, I see. Because I'm a monkey, I must love bananas, right? That is a vicious stereotype!

    Oz: You don't like bananas?

Finley: Of course I love bananas, I'm a monkey! Don't be ridiculous! I just don't like YOU saying it.
