I was looking forward to this sci-fi film, but I was very disappointed. Why can't I see a little bit of "Chocolate Factory" or "Edward Scissorhands" again? I was really seduced by the gorgeous title. .
A bit like "Battle for the Planet of the Apes", the male protagonist broke into a foreign land, and finally told everyone that human wisdom is greater than everything, even magic, but without the use of the brain, the human body is vulnerable. This film is a prequel to "The Wizard of Oz". I haven't watched "The Wizard of Oz" yet. I can't let go of such a classic movie. The male protagonist in the film is a circus magician with bad intentions. In fact, he only has two brushes. He was blown to the country of Oz by a tornado, but he is regarded as the savior. How much do you think he is capable? At first I thought there would be a good show, but I found that he was inferior, and later found that his power was actually based on the stupidity of the witch. That's right, how low are the IQs of those witches? And the ending is not as enjoyable as watching other sci-fi fairy tales. I always feel that the bad guys have not been completely eliminated, and the security risks still exist, which makes people unhappy and uneasy.
The plot is very naive, but the visual effects are still ok, ranging from the magnificent buildings of the Emerald City and Oz, to the cuteness and pity of porcelain dolls and winged monkeys, as well as clouds and bubbles flying, etc., rendering the fairy tale atmosphere is ok. , that wall that only good-hearted people can pass through made me shocked.
