Father Ben saw the ugliness, greed and exploitation of this world and wanted to build a world of Plato's "Republic". But based on social reality this is impossible. The film reflects some real-world issues. Modern education makes educated people have fixed thinking, rigid thinking and slave thinking, so that they lose the ability to think independently and actively. Modern lifestyles also lack natural inclinations, lack of exercise, and unhealthy food. The father in the film, Ben, has educated very good children in his own way (from a secular perspective). But educating children well is not to let them live alone in the mountains and forests for life, but to be able to go out and change the world, so that we can make progress (personal point of view). At the end of the film, the children also return to school for education. It's a happy ending! But I still find it hard for me to accept that they dug my mother out of the cemetery and cremated it. Since the deceased is gone, why bother? Finally, I will share the classic lines. Always stay sincere, maintain a noble character, live every day as your last day, live a full life, and leave no regrets. Be adventurous, but also enjoy yourself, because life is short.
