Disadvantages: typical Hollywood popcorn movie, mentally retarded plot, simple characters, eternal personal heroism, justice overcomes evil, beautiful women...
Advantages:
sci-fi + scene + Chinese kung fu: ok, with a little sci-fi smell. For example: The first nanotechnology really surprised me a bit. Some controllable nanoworms, which can reproduce like viruses, can be applied to: phagocytosis of cancer cells and weapons (devour everything). Also for example: Invisibility Cloaks, Accelerated Warrior Shells, Various Aircrafts, Ion Runs (?)... Also: The bad guys actually built a military base under the water in the Arctic. The screenwriter is really playing the sci-fi card. Some of the fights are dazzling to watch; and there are also fights with a Chinese kung fu flavor. All kinds of things mixed together.
