that road

After watching it, or at the time of watching it, I was a little panicked.
Perhaps, there are many reasons for this tragedy. Frank didn't communicate well with April; the couple who didn't really approve of their going to Paris; the one who said they were a special real estate agent and her neurotic son; and maybe, the superior who gave Frank a high salary.
very many.
But in my opinion, the bottom line is April's own personality. Uneasy about the status quo, unwilling to be ordinary. Who knows if they really went to Paris, and if she stayed for a long time, she would want to change another place and another life.
April is sad, but not pathetic.
I don't mean to accuse her. Instead, I felt panic because I felt like April, uneasy about being ordinary. Keep chasing the so-called happiness, but do not know what happiness is. Of course, I would never kill my child like that.
Can the trivialities of life really bury love? Some people say that if Jack had climbed the plank, they might have been like this now, or it might have been worse.
The road to revolution is a revolution in marriage, a revolution in life, and a revolution in love. As a result, he lost his life.
In the end is to be reborn in despair, or perish in despair.
Maybe in another 50 or 70 years, when I am a woman and a mother, I will watch this film again, and I will see many different insights. There are some things to learn, but also to comprehend and experience by yourself.
Everyone knows what the truth is, but most people still choose to live a lie. The so-called truth or lies, who really can tell.
The highlight of the whole film is that the old man at the end, facing his nagging wife, turned down his hearing aids.

    April Wheeler: Paris!

    Frank Wheeler: What?

April Wheeler: You always said it was the only place you'd ever been that you wanted to go back to. The only place that was worth living. So, why don't we go there?

    Frank Wheeler: You're serious?

April Wheeler: Yes! What's stopping us?

Frank Wheeler: What's stopping us? Well, I can think of a number of different things.

  • April Wheeler: When I first met you, there was nothing in the world you couldn't do or be.

Frank Wheeler: When you first met me, I was a little wise guy with a big mouth.

April Wheeler: You were not! How can you even say that?
