Thank you for letting me meet my best self

The hot weather made me not in the mood to study for the final exam, so I wanted to reminisce about this movie. The first time I watched this movie was when I was in junior high school. I started watching it from the opera part, and I cried when I saw it at the end. Later, I tried to find this movie many times, but I couldn't get it. Today, I was delighted to see this movie in the post bar, and then finished it in one breath. I admit that my tears are very low, and I still burst into tears after watching this movie after a few years.
I really like the character of the male protagonist here, and I think there should be many girls who also like such boys. A bit nasty, a bit black-bellied, but once you fall in love with this person, you will treat her wholeheartedly. The male protagonist's mother reminded him that Jamie is the pastor's daughter. Langton said that I know that she is different from other girls. For her, he is willing to change, become what she likes, and become a better version of himself. . Is the heroine really so attractive? I think yes, if I were a boy I would fall in love with such a girl too. As long as you want to get close to her and get to know her, you will find that she will shine, and her frown and smile will affect you. Her kindness and sincere love for life gave him a new yearning for his own life. Although Jamie finally passed away because of leukemia, Langton was left with endless grief. But it was Jamie who "salvaged" Langton, letting him settle his quarrel with his father and give him a better way of life.
The people we love will eventually have their shadows on us. In the movie Jamie said our love is like the wind, you can't see it, but you can feel it. The probability of falling in love with a person in this world is probably more difficult than winning the lottery, and it is even more difficult to finally enter the palace of marriage. So please treat the people around you with sincerity, do it and cherish it.

A Walk to Remember quotes

  • Reverend Sullivan: "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked." Hmmm.

[Landon walks into the Church as Reverend Sullivan is practicing his sermon]

Reverend Sullivan: "Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap..." Can I help you?

Landon: Uh, yes, sir. I'd like to ask your daughter to dinner on Saturday night.

    Reverend Sullivan: That's not possible.

Landon: Well... with all due respect, sir, I ask you to reconsider.

Reverend Sullivan: With all due respect, Mr. Carter, I made my decision. You can, uh, exit the way you entered.

Landon: Listen, I'm sorry I haven't treated Jamie the way I should've. She deserves more than that. I'm just asking you for the same thing that you teach us every day in Church. And that's faith.

    Reverend Sullivan: [Exhales deeply]

  • Landon: That is one scary

[turns around and sees Jamie's father]

    Landon: Jesus!

    Reverend Sullivan: No, Jamie's father.
