I went to see Ghost in the Shell today and thought it was necessary to post a (not very serious) film review. First of all, as a layman, I don’t really understand the idioms such as film tone and visual language. I just want to say that from the perspective of actor modeling, this film does not deliberately pursue the consistency with the original animation and put the whole The film turned into an awkward cosplay stage play. Secondly, as a remake of the Eastern story by an American team, it is already a great progress to make it like this. After all, they did not make this story with a sci-fi background into a traditional American blockbuster (that is, if you pull a gun, you will do it, and if you do it, it will explode. After kissing directly, and then turning off the lights...), the whole film still retains the philosophical discussion of ghost and shell involved in the original work, and at the same time does not lose the tense and exciting gun fight (major wearing an optical camouflage uniform and a small pistol with no features The scene of smashing the enemy is really wonderful). Third, I know that many fans of the original book are still very disappointed with such a remake. This kind of disappointment is completely understandable. First, because like a foreigner who has been in China for a few years, although he can speak Chinese, he speaks with a quick accent. It is inevitable to deviate from foreign languages. The American team has a limited understanding of mysterious concepts such as "flesh" and "spirit" in Eastern philosophy. The best they can do is to combine China and the West, rather than completely depicting the East. In this way, it is unavoidable that the second half of the film has an "American theme" bias as other audiences have said; then, the second disappointment point for fans of the original may be the common problem of the adapted movie - always filming I don’t know the depth of the book. For this, I just want to say that it is not fair to use the standard of the book to examine the film. After all, the many descriptions in the book that can give people deep thinking are difficult to present in the film with visual expression. Come out, so even for watching an adaptation, the primary evaluation criteria should apply to the criteria of judging movies, not literary works, after all, for most viewers who have not seen manga or animation, they want to see What arrived was the creative secondary creation of the film team, rather than the constant play of jokes and tribute to the original. In this regard, I hope that when you evaluate this film, you can rely more on the film itself rather than the original. Finally, I hope that you can rely on your own viewing experience as the criterion, and the evaluation of others cannot replace the process of your own independent thinking. (This is the first time I've written a serious review of a movie, I don't like to spray it, anyway, I'm thick-skinned hehehe)
