Although we can all grow up (can), we are still us

I believe that there must be countless Turtle fans, passers-by, follower G (and a little bit of Meghan's sister support group members) who will complain about the shapes of the four male protagonists after the movie is broadcast.
I don't want to deceive myself, ugly is ugly, just like I can face up to my looks and never avoid it.
But if you are really angry because "you are given a turtle brother like you, you are not afraid!!!" No need.
We've seen too many Tony Stark, Captain Rogers, nocturnal flying mammals, and English-speaking alien robots, but they're not alone in this world. Superheroes are not synonymous with handsome men and small fresh meat. Sometimes we really need some little turtles to adjust our increasingly picky visual nerves.
Moreover, this movie is not just full of ugliness, do you really think that Megan's sister does not exist! ! !
Aside from the styling, I really don't have much to complain about the plot. Like many other movies of the same type, I knew the general direction and end of the story before I sat down and shoved the popcorn in my mouth.
(But for Comrade Shredder, who we used to be familiar with, I really feel that he is getting more and more unfamiliar now... Except for the name of a master who he doesn't know where he got it all over the world, he is crazy and dazzling. The cool Iron Man suit is literally teaching the four of you to be turtles in minutes.)
Don't get too carried away with the movie's exaggerated styling and thin plot. A commercial film is a commercial film, it is not a textbook, it will not let you learn knowledge from it; it is not a documentary, you do not need to pursue the truth in every aspect; it is not a weapon, so that after you watch it, you will improve in all aspects. The little friends instantly bow down under your jeans trouser legs.
You are willing to spend dozens of dollars for two hours to watch this type of movie, just for the big scene, your favorite star, and some kind of feeling. (If feelings are still a compliment at this time...)
You need to accept them like you have to deal with your hairline and beer belly. We are all grown up (can), but we are still us, and this is the feeling.
Flip through the previous cartoons and look at the embarrassing photos of our childhood, at least we used to be cute.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles quotes

  • Leonardo: All these years you told us we were rescued from the fire by a great guardian spirit, a hogosha.

    Splinter: That's right.

    [points at April]

    Splinter: This is the hogosha.

[all the Turtles bow to April]

Michelangelo: [whispers] Dude, my girlfriend is the hogosha...

    [Leo hits him]

  • Splinter: Like all children, they were drawn to the distractions of popular culture. And I knew, one day they would want to explore the world above.

[remembers the young turtles dancing to Hollaback Girl]

Splinter: They would be ridiculed. They would need to learn to protect themselves, both mentally and physically.

[while sweeping, Splinter finds a book on ninjutsu]

Splinter: And then I found a way. First, I would teach myself the ancient art of ninjutsu. The others followed my lead, accelerating at a wondrous rate. Their gift was also their passion; they lived, breathed and dreamed of martial arts. Then, they were ready.
