The best food is to make people happy

Recently, I like to watch healing and relaxing movies. I went around on station B. Finally, this movie about food and dreams attracted me.
Good food is an important part of life. A meal may change a person's mood. Everyone's definition of food is different. Maybe it is a bowl of hot porridge when you are down. You slowly chew every grain of rice in your mouth and feel every bit of heat radiating from the edge of the bowl. This is beautiful. Maybe it's the taste of hometown that foreigners have been waiting for for many years, the taste that is familiar enough to imagine with closed eyes, recalling the faces of family members, childhood playmates, this is beautiful. Maybe it is when you are lost, lonely, lonely, that little bit of taste that you taste makes your mind calm, this is beautiful.
We all have our own small persistence and stubbornness towards food, and behind this persistence may be your understanding of life and your persistence in dreams.
Kyle is the head chef of a restaurant. He is devoted to researching the menu and cooking food. He has an incomparable dedication to food, but the boss's disapproval and estrangement from his family have cast a gray haze on his life. He hesitated, but never let go of his insistence on food. Unemployment was a turning point in his life. While he lost his career, he had more time to spend with his family. From a restaurant chef, he turned into a small boss who drives a food truck, shuttles between different cities, and sells street food. But this kind of life change has allowed him to gain a rare get along with his son, and the family love returns in this small dining car. On the other hand, he regained his passion for his dreams by cooking simple street food. This simple happiness brought good enjoyment to the diners made him find himself, the smile returned to his face, and his career Get back on track.
The secret of good food is to give people a pleasant enjoyment without excessive pursuit of refinement. The kind of beauty that bursts out on the tip of the tongue is the silent communication between the chef and the diners, which is a wonderful experience in exchange for true feelings. There is no essential difference between the street vendors and the dishes in the five-star hotel. Feeling good is their common original intention. There is no difference between the size of your dream and the level of your career. What can bring you happiness and joy is what you should pursue.

Chef quotes

  • Carl Casper: [excitedly reading Ramsey Michel's review] "Gauloises: Eager to Please. Ten years ago, I had the good fortune to dine at Chef Casper's revelatory Miami bistro, Marrow. The sheer audacity of this fresh, brave voice of the culinary scene reminded me why I write about food as a vocation. It is nearly impossible to separate my glowing regard for Chef Casper and how much he inspired me from my expectations as I sat down to dine at the recently remodeled Brentwood Gallic staple, Gauloises. Oh, how times have changed."

    [not so enthused]

Carl Casper: "Over the last decade, Carl Casper has somehow managed to transform himself from the edgiest chef in Miami to the needy aunt that gives you five dollars every time you see her in hopes that you will like her, but instead causes you to shrink from her cloying embrace which threatens to smother you in her saggy, moist cleavage. The signature app, intended to impress the country club brunch crowd, is the caviar egg. A shirred egg topped with a dollop of caviar is an excuse for the chef to overcharge us for his insecurity and lack of imagination. Carl Casper can be best summed up by the first bite of his needy, and yet, by some miracle, also irrelevant chocolate lava cake. Casper didn't even have the courage to undercook the cake, thus curiously lacking its signature molten center. This sad dessert is emblematic of Carl Casper's disappointing new chapter. His dramatic... weight gain can only be explained by the fact that he must be eating all the... food sent back to the kitchen. Two stars."

  • Percy: [sets up a Twitter account for Carl] Okay. So, what do you want your username to be?

    Carl Casper: Carl.

Percy: You can't just put "Carl". It's got to be "at" something.

    Carl Casper: At Carl Casper.

    Percy: At Carl Casper. Taken.

Carl Casper: Somebody took my name?

Percy: At Chef Carl Casper? Is that cool?

    Carl Casper: Yeah, that's good.

    Percy: At Chef Carl Casper.

Carl Casper: So is this for sex?

Percy: Ew. No. Is that what you're doing this for?

Carl Casper: No, I'm not doing it for that. Someone wrote something bad. I wanna see what they wrote.

    Percy: Good. Oh, shit.

Carl Casper: Hey! You can't talk like that. I don't care if mommy's not around. I don't want you cursing around here.

    Percy: That review went viral.

Carl Casper: What does that mean?

Percy: It means it got picked up and re-tweeted everywhere.

Carl Casper: So, all these people have read the review?

    Percy: Yeah.

    Carl Casper: Oh, shit.
