Handbook of Desire Management for Children

I don't know how this film is rated, although the overall style is gothic, and some of the plots are terrifying, it is probably still suitable for children to watch. At least the text of the original book of the show can be read by children.

Compared with the teaching of loyalty and bravery in The Adventures of James Peach, this work is a negative education in the opposite direction. Paradise life is the devil's bait, and this indoctrination is the same as the big bad wolf that eats the disobedient child. Whether it works or not is hard to say. Some children are particularly vulnerable to intimidation, while others eat the sugar coating and return the cannonballs. Is such a wonderful film fit for a stick? In my opinion, this use of pie is mostly a waste, but I would like to see children let the many wonderful dreams on the other end of the "soft channel", and in the future have a pair of eyes to discover the magic, a heart to create a wonderful, a pair of manufacturing Wonderful hands.

3D is a development trend, but the film is not mature enough. Tim Burton + Hayao Miyazaki + Del Toro, lack of novelty.

Kids and adults alike should love it! The world is full of magic, adventure, surprise, weird and colorful, and the animation production method also makes people cry out! The plot is very simple. This kind of film is complicated and it conflicts with the gorgeous animation itself. It is enough to have a climax and a tile, not to mention the soundtrack is quite exciting!

Coraline quotes

  • Coraline Jones: [on the "Other" Mother] Why does she want me?

Cat: She wants something to love, I think. Something that isn't her. Or, maybe she'd just love something to eat.

Coraline Jones: Eat? That's ridiculous, mothers don't eat... daughters.

Cat: I don't know. How do you taste?

    [chuckles]

  • Other Mother: They say even the proudest spirit can be broken... with love.
