For some reason, I had a period of my own at home as a teenager before high school.
I have a computer at home but need to dial up. At that time, the video software was still PPS. There was no internet and no TV in my house. I lived on two downloaded movies, one is Ghost Mom and the other is Bridge of Wonderland.
In terms of plot, the ghost mother is more arresting than the latter. Looking back now, it made me fear and reject good material conditions, as if it were all a trap, and now I am also a bit anti-consumerism.
Maybe since then, I especially like this kind of dark series of movies. Silent Hill, Pan's Palace, Zombie Bride, and later Twilight (but it was finally found to be a vampire version of the romance drama) Night Interview with Vampires, 400 Years of Horror and so on.
All in all, it made me always be on the lookout for liars (though still often fooled) and imagine a world of dark fairy tales from time to time.
