Amazing Dream

One day, when you feel that your grown-up self is becoming less and less important in the world created by two adults, you may need another world to make you feel valued. Just as the baby unknowingly delights the adult, the adult unknowingly tires the growing child.
Love you, tolerate you, maybe this can't make you who you are, and who you are in the eyes of your parents. Obedient baby, we don't need you to grow up, we just need to be the reason for everything we do. The mantis that coraline bedside used to hold fond memories of photos became another dad's garden tool.
That mysterious dry well became a gateway to another world.
bobinsky cheese of all kinds, specially reserved for those amazing jerboa.
The dragonfly hairpin is as motionless as the dragonfly at the head of the bed. What dances is a heart that does not want to grow up.
Spink & Miriam's brighton rock, sorry, Brighton Rock, is a powder blue nightmare for Coraline.
Those beetroot, pumpkin literacy cards are also boring, even planted in the garden still no tulips come alive, haha!
The world in the eyes of children is beautiful, but it is not the real world.
As long as you know that you are growing up slowly and that you are responsible, why not be an amazing dream at night?

Coraline quotes

  • Other Father: [robotic] All will be swell, soon as Mother's refreshed. Her strength is our strength...

[one of the robotic hands closes his mouth forcefully]

Other Father: Mustn't... talk when Mother's not here.

Coraline Jones: If you won't even talk to me, I'm gonna find the other Wybie. He'll help me.

    Other Father: No point.

    [face distorts]

Other Father: He pulled a loooong face... and Mother didn't like it.

  • Coraline Jones: [on the "Other" Mother] Why does she want me?

Cat: She wants something to love, I think. Something that isn't her. Or, maybe she'd just love something to eat.

Coraline Jones: Eat? That's ridiculous, mothers don't eat... daughters.

Cat: I don't know. How do you taste?

    [chuckles]
