Breakthrough also adapted the film based on real events. The original novel is called "Into the Thin Air", and the author is also a survivor of the 1996 mountain disaster. This movie has always been the movie I was looking forward to. After watching it, I felt that the whole movie was objective and real, not artificial. I also climbed Mount Everest in 2014, and I also experienced a bigger mountain disaster. On April 18, an ice block hanging on the rock of the Kongbu Glacier collapsed and instantly transformed into countless broken ice pieces. To the climbers here, 13 people were killed and 3 people were missing (the Mount Everest on April 25, 2015 was even more tragic, the avalanche caused by the earthquake killed 18 people at the Everest Base Camp). In the movie, the captain asked everyone why they climbed Mount Everest. In fact, this is a very contradictory question, because what is measured in front of us is "life, passion, reputation, death, family, love, friends...", the label given to it is too many! My understanding is that when God only gave us a few decades of time in our lives to pursue beautiful things, I hope to leave a little bit of excitement in my youth and life. The length of time is limited, I hope Can chisel its width! Day after day, I live like a skinny day at three o'clock and I hope to see Grandpa Mao earlier! Everest climbing, in front of everyone, what cannot be crossed is the courage to face "death", relatives and love that cannot be given up. It may be said that this is a very selfish behavior, but in the latitude of climbing Mount Everest, the value of life and affection are inherently insoluble contradictions. Therefore, in climbing, I will try my best not to turn the adventure into an adventure, I will try my best to "live well", and reduce the selfish behavior of personal climbing Mount Everest to a minimum! The climb is a very long process, 2 months. In the extreme environment, eating, drinking and lhasa are all torment, and it is a strong test for the body and willpower. I remember a mountaineer said, "Climbing is like making love with death!" Passion and death coexist, even if You have the most complete experience, the best strategy, the best weather, the best equipment, and the strongest physical fitness. During the mountaineering process, you may also fail due to slips, sudden changes in weather, avalanches, rockfalls, etc. A climb of Mount Everest is equivalent to accepting the baptism of "death", and it is also a dialogue with one's own heart during the climbing process. Maybe when you experience this, you will feel the preciousness of life, and the beauty of family and love in the world you live in! This is my personal experience and feel welcome to discuss.
