Protect your story

It's like a dream that has been unwilling to wake up for a long time. On the far side of the sea, there is an untouched fairytale dream. I have never left regret, timidity, or cruelty to that unknown ocean. While this emotion is still pure, create a dream for me. Take advantage of the fact that you have never been a hunter, while you are still young. Imagine being in that sacred underwater kingdom! People have no fetters, and people live freely.

In that free country. There is no need for complex relationships, fragile connections between us. I don't need to try your eyes, your words. Because we trust each other. Because we will say to each other; I love you, I believe in you.

I know that reality will not keep my dreams and fairy tales for me, even if it is a partial fulfillment. But fairy tales are willing to stay in my heart. It's like the longing between Jessie and Willy, deep and unique. Maybe I will create a legend and then remember it. Maybe I will experience wind and frost, and then grow old. Even so, I know that faith will not be wiped out and it will remain beautiful. I will understand that Jessie's mother never abandoned him, and I will understand how Wily and Jessie confide and cherish each other at night.

  • [Randolph gives Jesse a book]

    Jesse: What's this?

Randolph: Thought you'd might want to know what we're dealing with this year. My father gave it to me.

    Jesse: Thanks.

    Randolph: It's Haida.

    Jesse: What?

Randolph: [goes to the chair to sit down] Haida is the name of my people. 300 years ago, there were so many fish in the water my people only had to spend one day a week gathering food. Everybody ate like kings.

Jesse: So what did they do the rest of time?

Randolph: Carved and painted totems. Made music, told stories, made babies.

    Jesse: Sounds good to me.
