A year after the heroine's husband and daughter die in a car accident, five of her female friends organize a cave expedition to free her from the shadows. But the leader of the expedition led everyone into an unfamiliar cave that wasn't on the map. After everyone entered the cave, the passage leading to the entrance of the cave was blocked by falling stones, so everyone had to find a way out in the cave. Unexpectedly, there are many carnivorous humanoid monsters living in this cave. After finding these people, they chased and killed them. During the escape and fighting with monsters, some people were killed and eaten by monsters. In the fight with the monster, one person was accidentally injured by the leader of the expedition, who left her and ran away. Later, the heroine met the seriously injured person. Before she died, she told the heroine that she was injured by the leader and was abandoned by her, and also told the heroine that the leader had an affair with the heroine's dead husband. The heroine wounded her when she met the leader, leaving her surrounded by a group of monsters. The heroine continued to escape and search for the exit in the cave, accidentally fell and fainted, and had a dream that she found the exit, escaped from the cave, and drove home. After waking up from the dream, he found that he was still trapped in this cave.
In the film, the heroine injured the leader of the expedition, which seemed to be too impatient. Although it is not clear that she accidentally injured the friend, nor did she know that she ever wanted to search and rescue herself, in that case, more than one person is more powerful. Taking it into a strange cave and killing so many people, it is not too late to find a chance to settle accounts after you escape from danger. She is still needed in the cave, as long as you pay more attention to her.
The ending of the film is tragic, and there is also a sense of despair. Everything good is a dream, and after waking up, it is still in the Longtan Tiger Den. This may be a metaphor for the cruelty of the reality of life, and it also lays the groundwork for the sequel.
The plot of this film is relatively tense and terrifying. Although the shape of the monsters is not very good, the pictures of monsters killing and eating people and killing monsters are very bloody. It is also a good horror film. It is suitable to watch at leisure.
