After watching it, I think the title of the film is very good. Darkness invades, I think, it is worth not only those monsters in the dark, but also the heroine's last humanity has been wiped out.
At the beginning, this is a typical horror film routine. In order to comfort the heroine who lost her husband and daughter, her good friend invited her to explore, but accidentally entered a cave that had never been developed before, and was attacked by unknown monsters.
If you look at it this way, it's an ordinary plasma horror movie, but I think the performance of a few teammates in the face of monsters is more interesting.
The heroine behaved normally in the early stage, but after discovering that Juno, the best best friend, had something to do with her dead husband, the animal nature that had been suppressed for a long time in this situation finally broke out.
In fact, I still can't understand the heroine's choice in the end. Juno even gave up the opportunity to go out early for her, and never abandoned her. In the end, she was stabbed and thrown to the monster.
So I tend to not escape successfully with the final ending. After all, her heart has been completely invaded.
