Generally speaking, this is a British-style noir film. The style is obvious, British accent, language humor, dirty mouth, violence, and a little blood.
People who give this film a low score basically have no aesthetics. Or it's not vulgar = there is no aesthetic.
It must be admitted that I prefer British films, and I am more impressed by Gai Liqi's films. If you study this film deeply, there are many shadows of Gai Liqi, dark, and a lot of humor. Everyone is unique, and even drinking is a joke.
