Frankie came to New York as a special envoy of the Northern Irish Republican Army. His mission was to purchase Stinger missiles in order to change the power balance with the British Army. He was arranged to board and stay at the police Tom’s house through the inside line, and got along well with Tom’s family. But Tom didn't know Frankie's true identity. Frankie and another member of the Republican Army, Sean, planned to use a fishing boat to transport the missile to the other side of the ocean. The owner of the nightclub is the matchmaker between the buyer and the seller. The payment is transferred by Megan from Belfast, and Frankie temporarily hides the money in Tom's house. The arms dealer was eager to get the money and sent someone to break into Tom's house. After the intruder was driven away, Frankie confessed the purpose of the trip. The loyal Tom wants to arrest Frankie and refuses to cooperate with the intelligence agencies of the United States and Britain to pursue Frankie alone. In the end, both of them were injured by each other, and Frankie, who was more seriously injured, died in Tom's arms.
