As we all know, adventure films have routines. This routine is often a combination of more than four people, each performing their own duties. The hero is responsible for acting handsome, the heroine is responsible for falling in love with the hero, and the remaining characters are responsible for doing things + encyclopedia, and finally the person used ushered in a happy ending. This show is not conventional, but its story is better than exploring the difference between an ordinary person and a hero: When you put on the mantle of a hero, will you still accept your true self? Do those who love you love you because you are a hero, because you are who you are, or both?
This movie has talked about this question from the very beginning: the hot girl who was born to death with the hero in the last movie came to reality, will she still accept this ordinary boy who works in the drugstore? Will she return to her wonderful life and forget everything? To be honest, these doubts make ordinary male protagonists in real life more human and closer to our real life. This is a full bonus. After all, this movie uses an unusual setting: ordinary people are transformed into powerful and handsome heroes, and they will change back to themselves after a certain period of time, rather than possessing their own appearance and skills. The self was pushed into the hero's seat.
At the same time, it is worth mentioning that the concept of "hero's coat" should be the grandfather. When you have the opportunity to return to youth and are extremely powerful, will you ignore yourself because of your hero status and can't wait to show it off? Grandpa did make this mistake at first: he couldn't wait to prove that after escaping the ostrich, he said that I had saved everyone and that without me you would all lose your life. This also made him make mistakes again and again. Not only was he obsessed with glamorous NPCs and forceful force, which caused everyone to die in vain, but he also silently killed people who resented in reality.... But fortunately, he finally understood. Now, he is still him, and this experience made him finally realize his desire for vitality. He went from a stubborn grandpa to a communicative and charming grandpa. Yeah, I'm not young anymore, the surgery on my pelvis makes it difficult for me to walk, and even my grandchildren dislike me, but so what? After being injured and recuperating, I can still play happily with the proprietress of the restaurant and find a new job for myself. I'm not dead yet!
(Thank goodness they have precious springs and all identities are interchangeable. Otherwise I think they'd all be dead...)
Of course, this film has many flaws. The foreshadowing is too long, and the producer can at least cut the beginning of the 5-10 minutes. There is so much nonsense that even the children are probably bored. The screenwriter forced the character to die: why does a horse have to be so tightly guarded, do you know that this thing is a horse-body winged beast? Setting is extremely ordinary, deserts, snowy mountains and taverns, and sometimes even reminds me of the ancient game temple run.... Is it going to die in a less Facebook-like place?
But, in a film for Friday night to relax, do you expect him to do Joker or The Dark Knight?
