OMG! Global, you save it! Dameng, it's time for you to retire and go home!
Aside from the rumored "Spy 4", as the orthodox sequel to the first trilogy, "Spy 5" really doesn't have much new ideas in terms of plot.
A group of corrupt bureaucratic bosses who suffered from persecution from beginning to end kept chasing and killing an old agent with amnesia, and then the old agent began to find out the reason why he was hunted and killed, and after finding out the truth, he came to think about this group of people. The bureaucratic chiefs who were to be persecuted made a beautiful counter-attack, and finally disappeared into the sea of people.
The plot of "Spy 5" is really meaningless. Jason, played by Da Meng, was living his life as a boxer in retirement, but he was caught out and fought, and in the end he always had to turn the world upside down and the fish died and the net broke.
"Bourne Bourne", which became a phenomenon in the past due to its unique style, is now an old wine in a new bottle - nothing new.
In the cast of "The Spy 5", in addition to Da Meng, who just returned from growing potatoes on Mars, Tommy Lee Jones, who was so old that his wrinkles were crowded together, was "resurrected" and then "killed" from the first movie. In addition to Julia Stiles, the most eye-catching is Alicia, who has been on fire for "Machine Girl" in the past two years.
It's a little surprising that Alicia's role as a network expert is really a bit surprising, first chasing Bourne, and then helping Bourne kill Dewey, a bad-hearted CIA executive, only to find out when she thought she was going to hire Amber that she was just taking advantage of it. Byrne just took her career a step further. A spy film with no new ideas instantly became a promotion of a black-bellied woman in the workplace. The change in the style of this painting is really astonishing.
Compared with Dameng, who has exhausted her strength to return to Earth on Mars, Alicia's acting skills are really good, and the temperament of the black-bellied woman in the workplace is extremely in place.
Dameng, it looks like you should really retire! Better plant potatoes!
The most proud of the visual style of the "Spy" series is its handheld photography and real fighting.
To be honest, in the "007" and "Mission Impossible" series, which are mainly based on technology, the real style of "Spy" did cause great success back then, and this more down-to-earth style made the audience feel more intimate. The time point of "Spy 5" is clearly right after the Snowden incident, which is the closest agent to real life.
but! "Spy 5" has made a huge mistake! This mistake is the most critical factor that directly led me to give this film a bad review, which is that it should not stand still and use handheld photography.
Facing the mainland movie market, "Spy 5" was transposed into 3D, and even IMAX 3D. As a visual controller, I have always preferred IMAX, but when I sat in the IMAX theater and watched it for less than half an hour, the nausea caused by visual dizziness already made me restless! Yes! I want to throw up! The first time I saw a movie I really wanted to vomit. In the next hour and a half, after I took off my glasses, I still couldn't change the predicament that I walked out leaning against the wall after reading it. This is not just me, but also many film critics.
Many people will say that this is caused by the mainland film market. It is undeniable that under the benefit of money, the practice of launching the 3D system on a large scale in mainland film history is disgusting. However, from the very beginning of filming, the director stuck to his composure and never considered that as a global film, he should compromise with the market and keep pace with the times. If you can stick to 2D shooting and 2D release like Nolan did, then I have nothing to say. However, you just can't do it.
Here, I would like to make a solemn statement to you again: Please choose 2D to watch "The Spy 5"! Please choose 2D! ! Please choose 2D! ! !
What? you say no? Then look no further! Just wait for the blue light!
