The film "The Sound of Music" is a musical film directed by Robert Wise. This film uses songs and dances to show us people's beautiful love and loyalty to the motherland during World War II. Maria is lively, playful, sweet, and very kind. When meeting with the captain's seven children, she did not get angry or turn away from the children for their rudeness to her, but prayed to God for the children at night. The captain's militarized management of the children at the beginning to the later free-style management is a big change, and we can't help but fall in love with this lovely father. The captain's loyalty to his country from beginning to end, that song I think "Edelweiss" represents the captain's loyalty. He expressed different ideas on different occasions. When he sang "Edelweiss" for the first time, he dedicated it to the baroness and expressed his loyalty to the baroness. He also wanted to marry her. Hitler sent someone to catch the captain when he sang "Edelweiss" for the second time. During the chorus competition, he sang "Edelweiss" to the Austrian soldiers who had surrendered to Hitler in the audience to express his love for him. Loyalty to the motherland, and explained the German flag he died at the front of the film. In our cognition, music is a symbol of beauty. Music appears in every beautiful picture in the whole film, giving us a cheerful and leisurely viewing experience. The ending clips Captain and Maria Taking seven children to the top of the mountain, they crossed the mountains, far away from the shadow of the war, and the film disappeared in their backs randomly. The ending doesn't tell us if they finally left Austria for a safer place, but I think their ending should also be as good as this beautiful song!
