The original was written in the 15th century, when people in European society often said Christ's blessings and prayers every moment. But the movie is from the 1990s. It is reasonable to say that there are not many people going to say prayers anytime and anywhere. At least half of the lines in the whole film are prayers, which is obviously not in line with the facts. (But it's also to add effect, it will be more romantic.) But overall this one is very good, Xiao Lizi is very handsome B-)
