To be honest, eight films can be made in a series without saying that the word-of-mouth is getting worse and worse. But after watching "Furious 8", I was a little disappointed.
The plot of "Fast 8" can only be said to be average, the plot is more old-fashioned and unattractive. Without Paul, only Roman mentioned looking for Brian in the play, but was directly rejected by Letty. I feel that it is not too big to say that it is too small to be related to the previous few. Mainly to let Owen Xiao's behind-the-scenes instigator Cypher appear, and take this opportunity to cleanse the Xiao brothers.
At the beginning of "Fast 8", Dom and others were racing on the street. Although Dom knew without thinking that Dom would win, this time Dom's car was more aggressive. In the end, he won by reversing. After the victory, the car also flew into the sea and exploded. There was a riot in the prison, and the scenes of Deckard and Hobbs fighting with other people in the prison were also quite good, but unfortunately, they did not see a duel in the end. The special effects of "Fast 8" are still quite good. Cypher controls thousands of cars on the street like a long dragon. This is the highlight of the movie; then there is the Lamborghini on the Russian ice, and the nuclear submarine breaks the ice.
The director wasted so much ink and ink on whitewashing the Xiao brothers that some extremes will turn against each other, and the director was too deliberately whitewashing the two brothers. Because Owen Shaw Giselle died and Han was killed by Deckard Shaw, Dom and the others and their brothers should have no end in sight, but because Dom and Shaw's mother cooperated The Xiao brothers rescued Dom's son, and the two sides reconciled, which is a bit far-fetched. Moreover, the director spared no effort to whitewash Deckard. Deckard's all kinds of jokes about Dom's son on the plane formed a big gap with Deckard's image in "Fast 7".
In the end, Dom named his son Brian Toretto, which is a tribute to Paul. I was surprised and moved at the time. But on the whole, "Fast 8" is not very good, and I feel that there are still many areas for improvement. I don't hope that the series of "Fast and Furious" will decline without Paul. Can bring us more surprises.
