Movies about dreams

I know my title is terrible, but I do classify "Morning Glory" as a movie about dreams.
I have watched a lot of movies about dreams, but only a few are really moving. Because the subject matter is actually very wide, once the filming is not good, the audience will have a feeling of "watching a monkey show across the bank". Although it is also a dream, it is just the dream of the actors acting.
In "Morning Glory", Betsy's mother said to Betsy, who just lost her job: When she was eight years old, she talked about dreams, and others thought you were cute. It was inspiring to talk about dreams when I was eighteen. Are you embarrassed when you talk about dreams at the age of twenty-eight?
I'm twenty-three this year, and I'm still talking about dreams, and I'm not far from being ashamed.
In fact, is the dream related to age? Some people are still discovering dreams, some are pursuing dreams, some have realized their dreams, some have no dreams, some have lost their dreams, and some have destroyed their dreams.
I envy Betsy. Although she just lost her job, she immediately found a new job. In fact, she crawled out of one pit and fell into another pit. But as the director of "DAY BREAK", she can flex her muscles here and bring new vitality to the program group. Many of us have our own jobs, but most of them are executing the orders of our superiors. There is no room to play. We can be buried first and then disappear. When we are really going to be useful, we can't fly.
In order to save the "DAY BREAK" that was about to be cut off (TV is really cruel, everything has to talk about ratings), Betsy’s team had to rack their brains to make strange tricks, winning by odds, not so much work. It is more appropriate to say that it is fun, but the effect is amazing, and the ratings are soaring all the way. It is not miracles that turn decay into miracles, but hard work and perseverance.
Some things seem impossible because I think they are impossible, Betsy said, the prospects are not optimistic, but I don't want to regret it because I didn't try my best.
Yes, seeing Betsy’s cheerful and energetic smile, I also asked myself why I didn’t try my best? Isn't your dream worthy of your best?
"Morning Glory" has been translated into "Morning Glory", but I prefer another translation method-"Morning Glory".
The section where Betsy ran in the wind was very moving.
This is actually a 2010 movie. It's still very new. The strange thing is that I have never heard of it, because in 2010, there was a "Dulala's Promotion" in the limelight, I can only say that it is not a grade.

Morning Glory quotes

  • Mike Pomeroy: Nobody really cares that I can do this job, but... but I can. I wanted you to see that.

Becky Fuller: That was a great story, Mike. That was... that was better than a great story, that was great television. I mean, that was bran with a donut. A bran donut.

Mike Pomeroy: I've got a grandkid. Did you know that? Alexander. I haven't seen him since I got fired. I was embarrassed... after all I'd accomplished. And then to... come back to the news... this way. The truth is, I'd... I'd screwed up with my kids way before I got canned. Anyway, I was never at home and... when I was, I took every phone call, watching TV out of the corner of my eye. Why am I telling you this? You're worse than I am. You'd sleep at the office if you could. Let me tell you how it turns out. You end up with... with nothing. Nothing. Which is... which is what I had. 'Till you came along.

Becky Fuller: Wait a second. Did you just say something nice to me?

Mike Pomeroy: I told you I could banter.

  • Becky's Mom: Did you get any severance?

Becky Fuller: Uh... there were some budgetary cuts last year, so they weren't really offering. But I have feelers out. Lots.

Becky's Mom: Yeah, great. Honey, you think "The Today Show" is gonna call you up and hand you a job, and you have since you were eight, and it's not gonna happen.

    Becky Fuller: I don't... I know that, I do. I get it.

Becky's Mom: This is partly my fault. I... I let your father get your hopes up. He was not a happy person, let's face it. When he saw you aim high, he started to feel better about himself, so I never said anything.

Becky Fuller: What are you saying?

Becky's Mom: You had a dream, you know? Great. When you were eight, it was adorable. When you were 18, it was inspiring. At 28, it's officially embarrassing. And I just want you to stop before we get to "heartbreaking".
