If it wasn't for Ridley Scott and the two leading actors, I really wouldn't want to watch this movie. Anti-terrorism-themed movies have long been out of ideas, and there is no motivation to watch the movie at all. If you continue to make such movies, it is better to be a spoof and spoof like You Don't Mess with the Zohan (Don't mess with Zohan). Nonsensical and yellow jokes are flying all over the sky...
The result of watching the movie is exactly the same as expected. DiCaprio continued his sloppy image and performance from "The Departed" and "Blood Diamond". Russell Crowe is still such a "director", but he has gained a lot of weight, hoho.
The scene that left me speechless the most was the deliberate insertion of a romantic scene in the film, perhaps to create an atmosphere of realism through the contrast between emotion and ruthless horror, but this is too superfluous. Not to mention redundant examples, simply, if you put a few female characters in "The Head of the Pot", what kind of rubbish effect will it be?
When it comes to politics and counter-terrorism, Americans take the trouble to shoot this subject. Do they want to illustrate the great mission of counter-terrorism, or do they want to conduct a profound review of their political system and international public relations? I don't think Scott himself understands this, nor the audience. After these many such political, shady, anti-terrorism, conspiracy and special agent films, the audience will only be more curious and puzzled about the FBI, CIA, NSA and other institutions in the United States, and more confused about the operation behind the scenes of politics. I firmly don't believe that after "Lion in the Mouth", Americans will be more aware of the operation of politics. After all, "Two-Face" is just an anomaly.
Trying to hide it, no, it should be called hard-to-play, and this way of always stirring up the water may be a huge contribution of Hollywood to American political secrecy.
