The idea and details of the title are the essence of this movie

At the end of the film, the protagonist's boss, Hoffman, informed the military to remove the monitoring of Phyllis. Seeing this, I knew that the title of the film, The Body of Lies, had already been described. I like this film very much, and I admire the director who runs through the whole film with such a title and idea. Even with any of the main lines of intelligence/counter-terrorism/espionage, the plot of this film can be interpreted well and even novel. But the director or screenwriter is not satisfied with this. Through the ups and downs of the plot, the struggle with enemies and allies, the delicate relationship between people is portrayed, and there is no 100% truth in front of interests, that is, Lies abound.
The film conceives a number of characters, the protagonist - the CIA Middle East agent, his boss - the head of the Middle East at the headquarters, the ally Jordanian regional security officer, and the informant (multiple). In addition to the work relationship, alliance relationship, and financial relationship, the only thing that maintains the four characters is the protagonist's sadness and guilt over the death of the informant. There is no trust between them at all.
