so?
What is this maze?
It is the world in which we are living, like a brain, a maze, we are all in this huge maze, even the designer can't see the whole situation, we struggle and want to escape, but in the end we just return to the original place.
The nothingness from which we were born is the nothingness from which we die.
The setting of the characters is precisely the types of people we live in this world
Wren (Ryan) - a solo escapee, empiricist
"Don't think about anything but what's in front of you." Like all realists aren't they? So he was over soon.
Worth - (incarnation of the director's self-thought) - engineer, designer, nihilist, screw in a giant chain
Lewin - Simple, bright math schoolgirl, guilty of destroying the world since she was seven, a self-aware person
Quentin - Nazi, cop, pragmatic, macho, speaks with his fists, obeys the law of the jungle, like the caretaker of the world
Holloway Helen - doctor, skeptic, humanitarian, like a citizen of the world, caring, helping others
Kazan - mental retardation and genius
The first to die is the empiricist, who believes in himself so much, but life is not what experience can predict
The second to die was Holloway, who David said was "really like Helen," presumably referring to Helen Keller, author of "If You Give Me Three Days of Light"
So, what exactly is this box?
It's not that "1984" doesn't have any conspiracy, we just reap the consequences
This tube, in a sense, is our current situation as human beings.
Everyone is paying attention to themselves, no one is watching the big picture, human civilization has lost control
The law of the jungle does not apply
Blind humanitarianism won't help
Because of it we are not dealing with the product of an imaginary fantasy, but our reality
Why didn't Voss leave in the end?
Because in a world full of hypocrisy, stupidity and sin, it's not worth living.
Worth, worth, value, where is the value of people? Use each other? Is the identity of a person in society the value of making oneself useful? What is the meaning of human life? Outside the labyrinth, there is only a piece of white and black, and they have a common name - nothingness.
We escaped a maze, can we escape the next maze?
It's like when we go out after watching a movie, don't we enter the maze of life again?
