It is not the kind of bloody horror, but the unknown of religion and different space, which brings you depression and fear in your heart. It's more of a Japanese supernatural horror movie.
Not to mention the original work, as far as the movie itself is concerned, its lens editing, special effects, actors' performance, and plot development are very complete, independent and excellent.
The world view of the movie sets three layers of space, and I didn't understand it very well when I first saw it. After reading it several times, I think the setting it makes is still very rigorous. And it makes the plot very tense and can add religious horror elements.
The innermost space brings a huge impact to the audience every time it appears. The world, which seemed so silent and dusty all over the sky, seemed to suddenly open its mouth to reveal its bloody fangs. Those classic scenes and plots: classrooms, toilets, churches, flashlights, every kind of monster... are impressive.
A long, long time ago, the cruel tragedy that happened to the child has continued to spread the fire to this day, and this fear has passed through time.
The little girl is doing very well. Her shape is small and white, with long hair and big eyes, like a doll. But when she stares at you motionless, there is a kind of naive cruelty, with scenes and shots, it is creepy.
In the story, she has experienced death and pain, and she only wants to destroy in her heart. She is a long devil like a little angel.
In all this terrifying atmosphere, the heroine's presence seems to be the only human nature. Her mother's love supports her as an ordinary woman, no matter what unknown and dangerous environment she goes to, she desperately seeks and protects her daughter.
Although in the end, when the "daughter" has completely blackened, the heroine still chooses to help the "daughter" to take revenge. It seems that this love is also twisted in this twisted story. But it can only be so, it is the only hope for the entire film to exist.
